XenTari Biological Insecticide DF

XenTari is a dry flowable biological insecticide containing a natural, potent strain (ABTS-1857) of Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies aizawai (Bta). Its unique combination of Cry1A, Cry1C and Cry1D proteins gives exceptional control of hard-to-control caterpillars such as armyworms and diamondback moth, along with loopers, budworms, webworms and other listed Lepidoptera. Larvae stop feeding within minutes, and XenTari has never developed cross-resistance with any other insecticide, making it an excellent resistance management tool.

XenTari is mixed with water and applied as a foliar spray when larvae are young and actively feeding; larvae must eat the spray deposit to be affected. It may be used in both field and greenhouse production, is tank mixable with most insecticides, fungicides and foliar nutrients, and spares natural predators and parasitoids. It is exempt from residue tolerances with a 4-hour REI and no restriction on application up to harvest.
