DiPel ES Biological Insecticide

DiPel ES is an emulsifiable suspension of Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki (Btk) strain ABTS-351 that selectively targets caterpillars and other worm pests. Larvae stop feeding within about an hour of eating a lethal dose, while beneficial insects are not harmed. It is exempt from tolerances, so there are no harvest residue or MRL concerns.

The label states DiPel ES may be used in either the field or greenhouse against any labeled pest. Because larvae must feed on treated plant surfaces, apply when larvae are young and actively feeding and aim for thorough, uniform coverage. A 4-hour REI and 0-day PHI make it a flexible rotation and tank-mix partner for resistance management.
