Purpose-Built Irrigation Surfaces

Staal Plast has manufactured Ebb & Flow bench trays since 1984. The tray systems are produced from high-impact polystyrene and are designed for commercial irrigation applications where water and nutrient solution are delivered across the cultivation surface and collected for drainage or recirculation.

Commercial Tray Construction

Staal Plast uses UV-stable high-impact polystyrene in its bench-tray program. The material is selected for long service life in greenhouse and controlled-environment applications and is recyclable at the end of its useful life.

Configured for the Project

Tray series, width, length, thickness, edge treatment, drainage, valve-sump components, supports, bench framing, and packaging are selected according to the cultivation method and facility layout. Not every component is compatible with every tray series; final compatibility is confirmed during design.
