The Spears 838-128SR is a 1 in x 1/4 in Schedule 80 PVC reducer bushing with a spigot end and a Special Reinforced (SR) 1/4 in female NPT end. A stainless steel collar reinforces the threaded port.

The 1/4 in reinforced port is sized for pressure gauges, gauge isolators, sample cocks and small sensors threaded into a 1 in socket fitting.
