KaPre ExAlt

KaPre ExAlt is a concentrated soil surfactant. It combines a proprietary formulation of polyelectrolytes and plant-based surfactants with 35% humic acids. It solubilizes and releases soil-bound calcium, magnesium, iron, manganese, phosphorus and sulfur, and flushes sodium from the root zone without stripping the soil of needed nutrients. The result is better drainage, aeration and aggregation, less crusting and compaction, and more efficient use of fertilizers and other inputs. Now also sold under the name ExAlt.

KaPre ExAlt can be spray applied or distributed through an irrigation system. It is used in regular maintenance programs to prevent and correct mineral buildup, and in curative or rescue programs for compacted, salt-contaminated, hydrophobic or otherwise damaged soils. The manufacturer recommends a jar test before tank mixing and advises against applying it with selective herbicides.
