Marathon 1% Granular Greenhouse and Nursery Insecticide

Marathon 1% Granular from OHP is a systemic imidacloprid insecticide for ornamentals, non-bearing fruit and nut trees, and vegetable transplants grown in greenhouses, nurseries and interior plantscapes. Once in the root zone it is absorbed by the roots and translocated upward through the plant. OHP reports up to 12 weeks of residual control on ornamental plants for resale grown in the greenhouse or nursery.

The granules can be incorporated into growing media before potting, applied topically at transplanting or to established containers, or broadcast over plants grown in flats, benches and beds, then watered in. On woody perennials the onset of protection is slower, so apply ahead of expected insect activity. It is also labeled for soil-inhabiting grubs in grassy areas of nurseries.
