Hormodin 2 is a mid-strength rooting powder containing 0.3% indole-3-butyric acid (IBA), a synthetic auxin that induces root formation on cuttings. OHP notes that enhanced rooting reduces propagation bench time and plant loss, and the dry powder dip offers zero disease migration between cuttings.

Hormodin 2 is prepared specially for propagating many woody and semi-woody plants, including some of the evergreens. Application follows a simple dip, tap and stick process: moisten the base of the cutting, dip it in the powder, tap off the excess and stick it into the rooting medium.
