Citric Acid

Citric acid is a weak organic acid supplied as a dry, water-soluble commodity product in 50 lb bags.

In controlled-environment agriculture it is used to lower the pH of irrigation water and nutrient solutions and to help dissolve mineral scale in irrigation lines, tanks and emitters. Pre-dissolve in water and add gradually while monitoring pH.
