The BMT-F-TO4 is a BACnet MS/TP module with four digital triac outputs for decentralized switching of relays, contactors and HVAC valves. Outputs are commanded through BACnet standard objects from a client, and can also be overridden manually with switches on the device, which is useful during commissioning and service.
It is the solid state counterpart to the relay-based BMT-F-DO4 on the same RS-485 trunk. Because triacs switch without mechanical contacts, this is the right module where the head end needs high cycle counts or fast pulse-width control that would wear out a relay - Growlink specifies it for driving dosing pumps such as HE Anderson units. It draws the same 24 V supply and uses the same addressing as the rest of the family.
