The BMT-F-SI4 is a BACnet MS/TP module with four S0 pulse inputs conforming to DIN EN 62053-31 Class A, built for decentralized counting tasks. It counts S0 meter pulses and retains the last counter readings through a power failure. Inputs are read using BACnet standard objects: the Accumulator object counts to 50 Hz and the PulseConverter object to 500 Hz.

It sits on the RS-485 trunk as a field level device alongside the rest of the BMT family, converting dry contact and S0 pulse trains from water, gas, electric and flow meters into BACnet objects the head end can read. In a Growlink fertigation system it is the module that turns flow meter pulses into a gallons per minute rate. It shares the same 24 V supply, addressing scheme and trunk as the BMT-F-DI4, DO4, CI4 and AOP4, so it drops into an existing chain with no new infrastructure.
