LALSTOP CONTANS WG is a biofungicide that targets and destroys sclerotia in contaminated topsoil. By reducing inoculum levels it breaks the disease cycle and lowers the risk of white mold and stem rot in the next crop cycle, ultimately supporting healthier crops and better yields. It is based on a naturally occurring fungus that poses minimal risk to growers, consumers, beneficial insects, and the surrounding environment.

LALSTOP CONTANS WG is incorporated into the soil where plants susceptible to Sclerotinia are grown. Once incorporated, the spores make contact with sclerotia, the survival structures of Sclerotinia fungi; germinating spores penetrate the sclerotia and produce a mycelium that attacks and destroys them from the inside, preventing them from generating apothecia or new mycelium. It offers flexible timing and can be applied pre-planting, at planting, or after harvest on crop residues, and is most effective when used in rotation over several years in infested fields.

Application Rates

• Field: 1 to 4 lb per acre (3 to 6 lb if incorporation displaces more than 2 inches of soil)

• Maximum 8 applications per year; minimum 10 gal water per acre for ground broadcast

Storage and Shelf Life

Use Tips

• Incorporate into the top 1 to 2 inches of soil soon after application
• Apply when soil stays below 81 F for about 7 days; less effective below 50 F or above 81 F
• Do not let the spray mixture stand overnight; maintain agitation
• Do not tank mix with, or apply within 7 days of, other fungicides
