Hortitech rolling benches can be paired with Staal Plast trays manufactured from UV-stable high-impact polystyrene. Tray selection, drainage layout, plumbing connections, and irrigation strategy are coordinated during system design.

Rolling benches reduce the amount of floor space dedicated to permanent aisles by allowing a working aisle to be created where access is needed. Hortitech states that a properly planned rolling-bench layout can increase usable canopy by up to 33 percent compared with fixed-aisle layouts.
