General Hydroponics TriShield Insecticide / Miticide / Fungicide Concentrate
TriShield is a 3-in-1 insecticide, miticide and fungicide concentrate formulated with soybean oil, sodium lauryl sulfate and citric acid. It qualifies for exemption from EPA registration under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) as a minimum risk pesticide. The label covers listed insects, mites and mite eggs, and powdery mildew, and it is intended for use indoors, in greenhouses and outdoors where permitted. It is a contact product with multiple modes of action that fits into an integrated pest management program.
TriShield is applied as a foliar spray or, where the label permits, as an immersion dip for unrooted cuttings. The label foliar rate is 45 mL (1.5 fl oz) per gallon of water, applied thoroughly to leaf surfaces until dripping; the immersion rate is 15 mL to 30 mL per gallon, with cuttings held in a mesh tray and fully saturated for at least five seconds. Spray frequency on the label ranges from every seven days for maintenance to every four days under moderate pressure, or daily for three days per week under high pressure. Prepare only the amount of spray solution to be used that day and follow the label mixing rates precisely.
