General Hydroponics - pH Down
Brand: General Hydroponics
General Hydroponics pH Down
pH Down is a liquid pH-adjusting solution formulated with food-grade phosphoric acid to lower the pH of a nutrient solution. It brings solutions into the proper range, typically pH 5.5 to 6.5, where nutrients remain most available for plant uptake. It is built for hydroponic systems and liquid-feed programs and works alongside General Hydroponics nutrient programs. Performance is consistent and repeatable, which matters for operators managing pH on a schedule.
Mix nutrients into fresh water first, then dose pH Down sparingly into the fully mixed solution, stir and re-test, repeating until the target pH is reached. Never adjust undiluted concentrates. Verify results with a calibrated pH meter or a liquid test indicator. The solution is corrosive, so wear appropriate eye and skin protection; store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, where unopened product holds potency for roughly two years and opened product is best used within one growing season.
