General Hydroponics FloraGro

FloraGro is the vegetative-growth component of the FloraSeries three-part liquid base nutrient system, carrying a guaranteed analysis of 2-1-6 plus 0.5 percent magnesium. It is potassium-forward and supplies the mineral nutrition plants use to build roots, stems and leaves before the reproductive stage begins. Because the three parts are dosed independently, an operator can raise or lower the FloraGro share to steer a crop toward more or less vegetative development. It is intended for growers who want stage-by-stage control rather than a fixed one-part feed.

FloraGro is never used on its own; it is run with FloraMicro and FloraBloom at the ratios given on the General Hydroponics feed charts for the crop and stage. The mixing sequence is fixed: add FloraMicro to fresh water first and stir, then add FloraGro, then FloraBloom, and never combine undiluted concentrates in the same container. Its share of the mix is highest through propagation and vegetative growth and is stepped down as the crop moves into flowering. It suits recirculating and drain-to-waste hydroponic systems, coco coir, soilless mixes and container culture.
