Calcium 880 Plus

Ferticell Calcium 880 Plus is a liquid calcium fertilizer that pairs calcium carbonate with an extract of unicellular freshwater algae. It guarantees 25% calcium with a particle size of less than one micron, and Ferticell says the algae cells help move calcium through the plant for fast, efficient assimilation.

Calcium 880 Plus is applied as a foliar spray or through most irrigation systems to prevent and correct calcium deficiencies such as blossom end rot and tip burn, and to help manage excess salts and sodium. The suspension should be agitated well and pre-diluted before it is added to the tank, and Ferticell notes some restrictions on mixing with phosphorus.
