B-Nine WSG Plant Growth Regulator

B-Nine WSG is a water soluble granule plant growth regulator containing 85% daminozide that shortens the stature of ornamental plants by decreasing internode length. Applied to foliage, it is absorbed into the leaves and moves to the growing points, where it inhibits gibberellin synthesis for a shorter, more compact plant.

B-Nine is used as a foliar spray on container-grown ornamentals in commercial greenhouses, shadehouses and nurseries. Daminozide has the lowest activity among common PGRs, so relatively higher concentrations give growers flexible, controlled growth responses with few documented cases of phytotoxicity or over-stunting.
