The Dramm K-10/O PulsFOG is a compact, portable thermal fogger configured for livestock and outdoor use with oil-based chemical formulations. The 'O' designates the oil version — built for the application of flammable, oil-carried liquids such as oil-based insecticides and disinfectants commonly used in poultry houses, dairy barns, hog facilities and outdoor pest control work. The unit quickly applies chemical solutions as a fog: with one 10-liter tankful it can treat up to 50,000 square feet in as little as 45 minutes. The K-10/O's 25 HP pulse-jet engine propels the fog up to 65 feet from the operator. The fast-fogging method allows very quick application from a distance, reducing labor and chemical exposure. The PulsFOG visible fog plume helps the applicator see exactly where the chemical has been delivered and stay out of the spray. Manual or electric ignition makes the unit easy to start; the 2-liter fuel tank is enough for roughly 100,000 sq ft of treatment per fill. The PulsFOG is great for the application of insecticides, fungicides, disinfectants, foliar fertilizers and for frost protection. (For water-based chemical formulations, choose the standard K-10 instead; for heat-sensitive products, choose a BIO model.) The K-10/O usually requires the addition of a PulsFOG carrier solution; contact Dramm for the proper carrier for your chemical.
