A PulsFOG is a hand-carried pulse-jet thermal fogger: it flashes a solution into a dense visible fog and throws it out across the structure, so one operator treats a large space from the doorway or the aisle and stays out of the cloud. Every machine here works the same way, carries the same 2 liter fuel tank, and starts on manual or electric ignition powered by 6 V from four 1.5 V D cells. Two things change: the engine, which sets how fast a tank empties and how far the fog is thrown, and the version, which sets what chemistry the machine is built to run. A carrier solution is normally mixed into the water and chemical for proper fog formation, and every unit is supplied with a cleaning kit, cleaning brush, chemical funnel, ear protection and a sample of cleaning solution.

Choose the Machine for the size of the space and how quickly you need it done. K-10 is Dramm's 25 HP size, emptying a 10 liter tank in 45 minutes with a fog throw of about 45 ft, which suits quonsets and small houses treated from the doorway. K-22 is the 50 HP size, 10 liters in 30 minutes and about 110 ft of throw, the usual pick for gutter-connected ranges worked from the aisle. K-30 is the 100 HP size, 10 liters in 15 minutes and about 220 ft of throw, for the largest buildings and for outdoor work. Then choose the Version for your chemistry. Standard - water based is the plain machine, for ordinary water-based solutions that are not heat sensitive. Oil - livestock and outdoor is the version built for flammable, oil-carried formulations, and is the one Dramm supplies for poultry houses, dairy barns, hog facilities and outdoor use. BIO - heat sensitive adds a second tank of plain water and a second set of injection nozzles that water-cool the exhaust so biologicals and heat-sensitive products survive the pass; Dramm builds it on the K-22 only, and it carries a 6 liter solution tank plus a 5 liter water tank rather than one 10 liter tank, so it covers about 30,000 sq ft per fill instead of 50,000.
