The Dramm Coldfogger CFAR-20/150 is a low-volume chemical applicator that can easily apply all formulations of pesticides, growth regulators, fungicides, vaccines, cleaning products and disinfectants using a highly concentrated spray solution. The low-volume method of applying chemical solutions diminishes costly run-off and greatly reduces application times. The Coldfogger uses a 3,000 psi pump to create a much finer spray than standard hydraulic sprayers — a 30-60 micron spray cloud that covers more surface area while the high pressure propels the spray deep into the canopy, ensuring even coverage on all surfaces. The 72-liter (20-gallon) chemical tank with built-in agitator pump holds enough spray solution to provide up to 72,000 square feet of coverage in as little as 72 minutes. The powerful high-pressure fog projects a plume of 30-60 micron diameter spray droplets 20-25 feet from the hand-held spray gun. This quality of spray is a tremendous improvement over conventional hydraulic sprayers that produce droplets that vary in size from 100 to 400 microns. The built-in convex reel conveniently stores 150 feet of high-pressure discharge hose and prevents bird-nesting during winding; a reversible reel guide flips to either side for easy winding and rewinding. The spray gun attaches to the discharge hose with a quick-disconnect coupling, allowing easy hose recovery without damaging the spray gun. A separate high-volume agitation pump primes the spray pump and keeps even stubborn powders in suspension. The 20-gallon tank features a sumped drain so the tank empties completely, plus a drain valve for easy emptying. The CFAR-20/150 is mounted on a heavy-duty cart with solid rubber wheels and casters that won't go flat; an optional BigFoot pneumatic wheel kit is available for rougher surfaces. Operation is easy and maintenance is minimal when the unit is properly cared for; a detailed instruction manual provides dilution rate calculations and troubleshooting guidelines.
