Dramm - ColdFogger AR High Pressure Fogger
Brand: Dramm
ColdFogger AR High Pressure Fogger
The ColdFogger AR is a cart-mounted high-pressure, low-volume applicator: a 3,000 psi pump drives a concentrated solution through a fine nozzle to make a 30 to 60 micron cloud that carries 20 to 25 ft from the hand-held gun and pushes deep into a canopy, using a fraction of the water a hydraulic sprayer needs and leaving no run-off. AR is the current build of the machine, and the pump is the reason it matters: Dramm replaced the older diaphragm pump with a self-priming piston pump built from corrosion-resistant components, so the machine will run oxidizers and other corrosive chemistries that were previously off limits. A separate high-volume agitation pump feeds and primes the spray pump and keeps stubborn wettable powders in suspension. Pick the tank for the ground you cover in one fill, the hose for how far you walk from the cart, and the wheels for the floor you cross.
Tank Size sets how much you treat per fill. 20 Gallon holds 72 liters and covers up to 80,000 sq ft, which suits single houses and mid-size ranges. 50 Gallon covers up to 200,000 sq ft and is the one to take if you are treating whole ranges or long livestock buildings without stopping to refill. Hose Length is reach from the cart: 150 ft is the standard length and the only length built on the 20 Gallon, while 300 ft is offered on the 50 Gallon and lets one cart position cover a much longer bay, at the cost of a heavier reel to wind. Both lengths store on the built-in convex reel, which stops the hose bird-nesting, and the reel guide flips to either side so it winds from whichever end suits the aisle. Wheel Package is about the floor: Solid rubber is the standard set of solid wheels and casters that cannot go flat and roll well on concrete and paved aisles; BigFoot pneumatic replaces them with 15 in pneumatic tires and pneumatic casters for gravel, dirt and rough outdoor ground, and it is offered on both tank sizes and both hose lengths.

Key Features
- 3,000 psi pump produces a 30 to 60 micron cloud, far finer than a conventional hydraulic sprayer manages
- Self-priming piston pump with corrosion-resistant components takes oxidizers and other corrosive chemistries
- Separate high-volume agitation pump primes the spray pump and holds wettable powders in suspension
- Convex reel prevents bird-nesting and the reel guide flips to either side for winding from either direction
- Quick-disconnect coupling lets the hose be recovered without dragging or damaging the spray gun
- Sumped tank empties completely and carries a drain valve
- Thermal overload with auto reset protects the motor
- Solid rubber wheels and casters that cannot go flat, or the BigFoot pneumatic upgrade for rough ground
Ideal Applications
- Insecticide, fungicide and miticide application in greenhouses and nurseries
- Growth regulator application where even low-volume coverage matters
- Between-crop disinfection and sanitation, including oxidizing chemistry
- Vaccine and disinfectant application in poultry and livestock housing
- Cleaning products applied to structures, floors and equipment
- Whole-range treatment from one cart position, using the 300 ft hose
Dramm lists 150 ft and 300 ft replacement high-pressure hose for these machines, and the Autofog and PulsFOG ranges cover the automatic and thermal ends of the same low-volume job.
