The ChemDose applies an exact measured dose of chemical solution straight to the soil, not to the leaf and not to the floor. Pull the trigger and the unit delivers a set volume per shot, either one at a time or on a repeating interval, so the chemistry lands in the root zone and nowhere else. That is what makes drenching systemic insecticides and growth regulators repeatable instead of an estimate.
Three models, two designs. The CD-2 is the current generation and is a hose end attachment - no tank and no pump, it meters flow from a pressure source you already have, such as an injector line or a Dramm Hydra sprayer, and it doses as low as 2.5 ml with plus or minus 1 ml accuracy from a rechargeable battery. The CD-100 and CD-120 are the earlier self contained 12 volt design that doses 10 to 90 ml on a timed pump cycle. The CD-120 carries a 20 gallon tank on an 18 inch wide cart sized to fit greenhouse aisles; the CD-100 is the same dosing engine without the tank, shipping with three wands, a charger and 25 ft of hose. Note that the ChemDose does not agitate - avoid chemistry that settles out of suspension.
