Dramm's brass Quick Disconnects offer the speed of a quick-coupler with no penalty in flow — a notorious problem with most consumer-grade quick connects. The 740 series uses a forged-brass body with a full-bore internal channel and Dramm's no-water-stop design, so you can take a 17 GPM brass shut-off and pair it to a Quick Disconnect without choking the flow down to the 5-6 GPM that most plastic disconnects deliver. All Dramm 740-series Quick Disconnects are made in the U.S.A. and built for years of daily greenhouse use. The brass body resists corrosion in high-EC water, the spring mechanism resists greenhouse grit, and there is no water-stop poppet — meaning no spring failure, no leaking seat, no clogged poppet to fail in the field. Mix and match with Dramm's Brass Twisty-Quick disconnects (625, 675, 775M, 775F) and Dramm Brass Hose Swivel (72700) to build the exact watering setup you need. The 743C is a female coupler half with the water-stop / WS variation in the Dramm 740 family. Sold individually.
