VK2 Carrier Solution

VK-II is the carrier Dramm mixes into the water and chemical before a thermal fogging pass. A PulsFOG will not form a proper fog on water alone: the carrier drops the surface tension of the solution so the pulse-jet breaks it into evenly sized droplets rather than coarse spatter, and those droplets then hang in the air and travel instead of dropping out of it. VK-II is the general-purpose choice among Dramm's three carriers because it works with all chemical formulations and is mixed with water, unlike VK-I, which is for EC chemistries only and is not mixed with water. Both container sizes hold the same product; only the pack changes.

Pick the pack against how much fogging you actually do. 5 Gallon Pail is the working pack, a 50 lb pail one person can carry and decant, and it suits a single site running a machine or two through a season. 55 Gallon Drum is the bulk pack and ships at 535 lbs, so plan on a drum pump and a way to handle a full drum; it earns its keep on multi-site operations or a continuous sanitation program where a pail would be gone in a few weeks. Both hold the same VK-II carrier and are used the same way, mixed into the water and chemical before the solution is loaded into the machine. If the program is horticultural rather than sanitation, Dramm's NutriFOG carrier doubles as a 10-3-3 foliar fertilizer and may be the better carrier for the same pass.
