The Autofog is a low-volume automatic fogger: you mix the solution, set the timer and leave, and the machine treats the house overnight with nobody inside. A patented, recalibratable air-atomizing nozzle breaks the solution into billions of micro-particles that fill the space and settle evenly on leaf surfaces, using a fraction of the volume a hydraulic sprayer needs and leaving no run-off. Two things vary on this page and they are independent of each other. Machine size sets treated area, tank volume, output rate and supply voltage, while nozzle material sets what chemistry the machine can run, because the brass nozzle Dramm fits as standard is not suited to corrosive products and the stainless steel nozzle is.
Size the machine to the house, check the circuit, then decide the nozzle. Mini 120V is the MLVH-10A: an 8 liter tank on a two-wheel dolly with nozzle height adjustable from 5 to 7 ft, treating up to 5,000 sq ft from an ordinary 120 V outlet, and the right size for a single quonset, a propagation house or a headhouse. Standard 120V is the SLVH-20A: a 7 liter tank treating up to 12,000 sq ft, still on 120 V, with a fogger head that separates from the control and compressor carriage on 33 ft of hose and cord so the nozzle can sit where the fog needs to start. Large 220V is the LVH-20A: a 14 liter tank treating up to 30,000 sq ft with a head that separates on 100 ft of hose and cord, but it needs a 240 V 60 Hz single-phase circuit rather than a standard outlet, so confirm the supply before ordering. Nozzle then decides the chemistry: Brass - standard duty is the nozzle Dramm fits as standard and covers conventional insecticides, fungicides and biorationals, while Stainless steel - corrosive duty is the same machine supplied with the stainless nozzle Dramm builds for corrosive duty, and is what to order if you fog oxidizers or other corrosive disinfectants. Adding HAF horizontal air flow fans more than doubles the area any of the three sizes will carry.
