Dramm - Air Powered Foamer
Brand: Dramm
Air Powered Foamer
The FM line is an air-operated foamer: it runs off your own compressed air and turns a detergent or disinfectant into a rich, shaving-cream lather that clings to vertical surfaces and breaks down slowly, which is what gives a sanitiser real contact time. A siphon or hose-end foamer only makes suds; compressed air builds a genuinely aerated foam that stays put on walls, benches and equipment and throws up to 15 ft from the gun. Every build uses the same foaming system and the same foam gun, so what changes across this page is how much solution you carry, what the tank rides on, and how far the gun reaches from the cart. Air is not supplied with the machine, and you need 60 PSI at 5 CFM for the standard 25 ft hose and more air than that for the longer hoses.
Start with Tank and Frame. 20 Gallon is a 75 liter tank on a vinyl-dipped two-wheel cart running solid rubber wheels and casters that cannot go flat, sized for headhouses, wash bays and single houses. 50 Gallon Standard puts a 189 liter tank on Dramm's HydraCart frame with those same solid wheels, for longer runs between refills. 20 Gallon BigFoot and 50 Gallon BigFoot are those two carts with the BigFoot upgrade fitted in place of the solid wheels: 15 in pneumatic turf tires and pneumatic casters, which is what you want on gravel, dirt and broken concrete. 50 Gallon SprayTrax and 100 Gallon SprayTrax are a different chassis rather than a wheel change - a four-wheel self-tracking SprayTrax cart on 15 in pneumatic turf tires with articulating axles and a tow tongue, so it can be pulled by hand or hitched behind a tractor and will turn a full circle inside 7 ft; BigFoot is not offered on these two because the SprayTrax already rides on pneumatic turf tires. Then set Hose Length: 25 ft is what Dramm supplies as standard on every build, while 50 ft and 75 ft buy reach at the cost of air, because anything longer than 25 ft needs more than 60 PSI at 5 CFM from the compressor, and a hose reel is worth adding at those lengths.

Key Features
- Compressed air makes a rich aerated foam that clings to vertical surfaces, not the thin suds a siphon or hose-end foamer produces
- Foam dissipates slowly, so a disinfectant or oxidizer gets real contact time on the surface
- Foam gun and 25 ft of 1/2 in EPDM hose supplied on every build, with 50 ft and 75 ft hose lengths offered
- Air driven end to end - nothing electrical or fuelled at the machine
- Plastic tank on a vinyl-dipped steel frame stands up to harsh detergents and corrosive cleaners
- Solid rubber wheels and casters will not go flat; the BigFoot upgrade swaps them for 15 in pneumatic turf tires and pneumatic casters on rough ground
- SprayTrax builds add a four-wheel self-tracking chassis with a tow tongue that turns a full circle inside 7 ft and can be pulled behind a tractor
- Foam adjusts at the gun and throws up to 15 ft, so an operator covers a bay without repositioning the cart
Ideal Applications
- Greenhouse and headhouse sanitation between crops
- Disinfecting benches, walls, floors and drains where contact time drives the kill
- Poultry, dairy and hog housing washdown
- Cart, rack and container cleaning in production areas
- Food and produce handling area cleaning
- Gravel yards, dirt lots and outdoor pads, using the BigFoot or SprayTrax builds
Dramm's hand-pumped Foam 8L compression foamer covers small spot jobs, the same SprayTrax chassis sits under the Hydra SprayTrax hydraulic sprayer, and hose reels are offered for the longer hose lengths.
