Dab Pumps - NOVA 4100 Continuous Duty Submersible Circulation Pump
Brand: Dab Pumps
DAB NOVA 4100 Continuous Circulation Pump
The DAB NOVA 4100 is a submersible circulation pump built for duty that never stops. DAB designed it for recirculating water in ponds and for driving waterfalls and water features, and rates it explicitly for continuous operation, which is a different specification from an intermittent sump or utility pump that expects to sit idle between cycles. The pump body, top body, base, impellers and suction grid are hydro resistant technopolymer with wear-free impellers, the upper and lower motor casings are cast aluminum, the rotor shaft is AISI 416 stainless steel and the seal is a triple lip design in NBR. The motor is a continuous duty asynchronous submersible type with thermal overload protection and a wear-resistant shaft. Both versions in this listing ship with a 100 ft SJTOW cord, which is what lets the pump sit at the far end of a pond and still reach a GFCI receptacle. There is no float switch on either version.
NOVA 4100 handles clean water without fibres carrying particles up to 0.393 in, and mounts either vertically or horizontally, so it can lie flat on a pond floor or stand in a vault. Typical duty is pond and water garden recirculation, waterfalls, streams, spillways, fountains and architectural water features, plus continuous turnover in tanks and basins. Choose the 115 V version for a standard North American 15 A circuit, or the 230 V version where a 230 V supply is already available and you want the lower running current of 3.2 A.
