DAB MASCONTROL Automatic Pump Controller

MASCONTROL is an automatic pump controller that combines a hydraulic body and an electronic control box into a single device that starts and stops a pump as taps open and close. It monitors both pressure and flow rather than pressure alone, so it holds pressure steady at the point of use and shuts the pump off immediately if the inlet runs dry or the suction is blocked. A check valve is built into the body, so one unit takes the place of the conventional pressure tank, pressure switch and check valve assembly. No adjustment and no maintenance are required.

The controller mounts vertically on the discharge column with the flow arrows pointing up, either directly on a surface pump outlet or between the pump and the first tap. It suits residential and commercial well systems, water conditioning, irrigation and booster duty, and works with surface pumps or submersible pumps. Three indicator lights on the front of the box report Power On, Pump On and Failure, and a Restart button restores normal operation once a fault has been corrected. On loss of power the unit resets and restarts automatically when power returns.
