DAB JETCOM Self-Priming Jet Pump

The DAB JETCOM is a single-stage self-priming centrifugal pump with an internal ejector and a technopolymer pump body. DAB specifies a cast iron motor support, a technopolymer impeller, diffuser, Venturi tube and sand guard, stainless steel adjustment rings and a carbon and ceramic mechanical seal. The motor is asynchronous, closed and cooled by external ventilation, with built-in thermal and current overload protection and a permanently connected capacitor on the single-phase version. Motor protection is IP 44 with IP 55 terminal board protection and class F insulation. All four models run on 115-230 V dual voltage at 60 Hz with 1 in NPT suction and 1 in NPT discharge.

The internal ejector is the point of the pump: it lets the JETCOM pull a prime and keep pumping even when air bubbles are present in the suction line, down to a maximum suction depth of 26 ft. That makes it the standard choice for shallow wells, cisterns, ponds and above-ground tanks where the water level sits below the pump. DAB lists it for domestic water supply, small-scale agriculture and gardening. The technopolymer body keeps the pump light and corrosion-free and DAB notes it will tolerate water carrying small quantities of sand. Liquid must be clean, non-viscous, non-aggressive, non-crystallised and chemically neutral.
