The FCT Connection Cap is a connection component for the DAB EsyTwin docking station, the base that mounts two EsyBox units side by side with shared suction and discharge pipework. DAB's EsyTwin Dock instructions list item 12 as CONNECTION CUP FITTING FCT, quantity 2, which is the only entry in the 18-item table combining a connection, a cup or cap, and the FCT label that DAB uses for the dock's connection group.

On the exploded drawing item 12 is a short barrel-shaped connector body with a knurled collar, drawn in the cluster that covers the dock's pipe connections: item 8 FCT EXTERNAL FITTING, item 9 THREAD GUARD PLUG D.1 1/4, item 10 PLUG FOR PIPE 1 and item 11 O-RING. That is the end of the dock that carries the suction and discharge connections.

Before You Order

• DAB does not publish an SP-coded spare parts list for the EsyTwin. The EsyTwin Dock instructions carry an 18-item parts table with generic index numbers only, so the link between SP00001232 and item 12 is our reading of DAB's own part description against that table, not a mapping DAB published.
• Confirm the part against the exploded drawing on page 2 and the parts table on page 3 of the EsyTwin Dock instructions, or with DAB or your DAB dealer, before ordering.
• DAB sells the EsyTwin two ways: a bare dock, listed under the page heading ESYTWIN DOCK, and a complete EsyTwin booster set that pairs one EsyTwin dock with two EsyBox units. This is a part of the dock itself, which is the same item in both.
• This is for the EsyTwin dock that carries two EsyBox units. It is not the EsyTwin Mini dock, which is a separate product for the EsyBox Mini 3.
• This is the least certain of the five parts we list for the EsyTwin. DAB's spare-part description says FCT CONNECTION CAP while the table entry says CONNECTION CUP FITTING FCT. They are close, and no other table entry fits better, but the wording is not the same. Check the drawing or ask DAB before ordering.
• DAB's dock instructions do not say what FCT stands for. DAB uses it throughout the parts table as the label for the dock's connection group, covering the FCT manifold, cover, retainer device and the internal and external fittings.
