This is the lifting eyebolt DAB lists for the EsyBox Max, shown on the spare parts sheet as (SP) EYEBOLT 3/4 in at position 115 (DAB prints the size with an inch mark). It screws into the top of the machine inside the upper compartment and gives access to the end of the motor shaft when it is removed.

DAB's manual, section 13.4, uses this eyebolt for the motor shaft procedure. After a period of inactivity, perhaps with the system drained, salts dissolved in the water can settle and form calcification between the motor shaft and the fixed part of the pump, increasing the resistance on starting. DAB's procedure is: disconnect the electric power supply; remove the lifting eyebolt inside the upper compartment by unscrewing it, taking care not to let liquid or solid impurities enter the motor; with a straight tip screwdriver rotate the motor shaft through the track visible on its upper face, in either direction, checking that it turns freely; then screw the eyebolt back into place, making sure that the O-ring has not been removed or damaged during the operation.
