ControlPress is an electronic pump controller with an integrated pressure reducing valve. Like a standard controller it starts and stops the pump as taps open and close and shuts the pump down if the water supply fails, protecting it from dry running. What sets it apart is the built-in regulator: it lets the installer cap the maximum pressure the pump can deliver and set the working pressure the system runs at, over a 35 to 100 PSI range, from one device in the line.

That combination matters on systems where the pump can generate more pressure than the piping and fixtures should see, which is common with submersible well pumps. Instead of installing a controller plus a separate pressure reducing valve ahead of it, ControlPress handles both in a single 1-1/4 in body. It also removes the need for an expansion tank, check valve, filter and fittings, and it carries automatic restart after a failure along with an anti-jamming function. It is rated for surface and submersible pumps drawing up to 16 amps.
