Cyco - Potash Plus
Brand: Cyco
Cyco Potash Plus
Cyco Potash Plus is an early-bloom potassium and phosphate additive guaranteed at 4 percent available phosphate, 6 percent soluble potash (K2O), and 1 percent sulfur (all combined sulfur), derived from monopotassium phosphate and potassium sulfate. Cyco states that it strengthens plants and aids in water retention, which improves yields and transportability, and that it balances other nutrients, especially nitrate, so they are taken up and used efficiently. The company links many of the functions of potash in the plant to physiological conditions and stress, including efficient nitrogen use, improved water use, drought tolerance, and frost resistance. It is aimed at commercial operators running a structured bloom program in controlled-environment agriculture.
Potash Plus is used in the first half of flowering, during weeks 1 to 4. For both recirculating and run-to-waste systems the rate is 1 ml per litre of nutrient solution, replenished at each nutrient change. It is dosed on top of the Bloom A and B base. Cyco specifies that Potash Plus is not to be used in conjunction with Cyco Swell, so the two are scheduled into different halves of the bloom cycle rather than run together.
