Cyco Bloom A

Cyco Bloom A is the calcium and magnesium half of the Cyco Platinum Series two-part flowering base nutrient, run together with Bloom B. Its guaranteed analysis is 3 percent total nitrogen, all of it nitrate nitrogen, 2 percent soluble potash (K2O), 3 percent calcium, and 0.6 percent magnesium, derived from potassium nitrate, calcium nitrate, and magnesium EDTA. Cyco states that calcium provides for normal transport and retention of other elements and that magnesium helps activate many of the plant enzymes needed for growth. It is intended for commercial operators feeding a controlled-environment crop through the flowering cycle.

Bloom A is used in equal measure with Bloom B once the crop enters the flowering cycle, replacing the Grow A and B pair. Cyco directs operators to fill the tank with water, add 30 ml of both Part A and Part B per 10 litres of water, which is about 2.1 tablespoons of each per 2.65 gallons, then check and adjust pH to 5.5 to 5.8. The two parts are dosed separately into the reservoir and are not combined in concentrated form. Bloom A and B form the base that the Cyco bloom additives are layered onto.
