LifeGard WG Biological Plant Activator

LifeGard WG is a biological plant activator containing Bacillus mycoides isolate J (BmJ), the first in a new class of biological disease control agents. Rather than attacking pathogens directly, it triggers the plant's own defense mechanisms (induced resistance) to help protect against a broad range of fungal and bacterial diseases and some plant viruses. It is OMRI Listed, can be used in organic and IPM programs, and is exempt from residue tolerances.

LifeGard WG is labeled for crops grown outdoors or under cover in greenhouses, shadehouses and other cover, including fruiting vegetables, cucurbits, leafy greens, brassicas, berries, grapes, pome fruit and tree nuts. Vegetable transplants may be treated in the greenhouse or nursery before transplanting, and it is applied as a preventive spray early in the season.
