Gemstar LC Biological Insecticide

Gemstar LC is a liquid concentrate of a naturally occurring, host-specific insect virus from Certis Biologicals that infects and kills larvae of Helicoverpa and Heliothis species, including corn earworm, cotton bollworm and tomato fruitworm. It does not infect beneficial insects, fish, wildlife, livestock or humans, and it is OMRI Listed for organic production.

Larvae must eat Gemstar LC for it to work, so complete spray coverage is important, and it is most effective on small, newly hatched larvae found through early scouting. It is compatible with most agricultural chemicals, carries a 4-hour REI and can be applied up to and including the day of harvest.
