Root Cleaner

Root Cleaner is a concentrated soil drench from Central Coast Garden Products that kills fungus gnats and their larvae on contact and works to eliminate root-destroying pests and pathogens without harming the plant. It is effective against thrips, root aphids, nematodes, pythium and rhizoctonia, and disrupts pest feeding and reproduction to minimize egg hatching.

Mix with plain water (never with nutrients or feed) and drench the root zone so the solution moves through the media, then flush with clean water 15 to 20 minutes later and let the media dry before reintroducing nutrients and beneficials. Repeat applications are required to break the egg cycle, and separate dip and pour-over directions are provided for hydroponic systems.
