Botanicare Silica Blast

Silica Blast is a silicon supplement formulated with a highly soluble form of silicon, with a guaranteed analysis listing K 0.5%. It is designed to reinforce plant cell walls, strengthen tissue and promote upright, resilient growth, providing a layer of protection in cultivation environments where heat, drought and frost can jeopardize a harvest. Botanicare states that silicon supplementation may help relieve abiotic stress, protecting plants during periods of extreme environmental fluctuation. It is compatible with all base nutrient programs.

Silica Blast is for use in container gardens or soilless hydroponic applications. In container gardens, use between 2.5 and 5 ml per gallon of water applied at every watering or every other watering. In hydroponics, use 2.5 ml per gallon for mid size plants and 5 ml per gallon for mature plants, applied to the reservoir every 5 to 7 days with pH adjusted accordingly.
