Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus 2-0-0
Cal-Mag Plus is a calcium, magnesium and iron supplement with a guaranteed analysis of N 2.0%, Ca 3.2%, Mg 1.2% and Fe 0.1%. It is formulated to deliver a precise balance and optimal ratios of the calcium, magnesium and iron that are critical throughout all stages of growth, especially in heavily fruiting plants and fast blooming annuals. The formula is fortified with a proprietary blend of select trace minerals to help maximize yields, prevent blossom end rot in tomatoes and peppers, and reduce tip burn in lettuce. When used in combination with nutrient solutions it functions as a catalyst to increase the uptake of essential minerals.
Cal-Mag Plus is used in hydroponics, soil and container gardens with any crop, alongside Botanicare nutrients or a preferred feed program. Botanicare directs that it always be used to supplement reverse osmosis water or when growing in coco coir, applied with every watering as needed. The label rate is 1 tsp (5 ml) per gallon of water, mixed well with pH adjusted to 6.2 to 7.0 before application. It can also be used as a foliar spray at 10 to 15 ml per gallon; shake well before each use.
