A Powerful Soil Additive

BioIRON is a high concentration of several unique and powerful beneficial bacteria on an iron and humic acid carrier. This dynamic new product contains several species of Bacillus and Streptomyces that break down normaly unavailable iron and release it to the plant.
Treated plants will be larger and more vigorous, have a robust root system and benefit from long term greening.

How it Works

BioIRON can be incorporated into soil media before planting or used as a broadcast or top dressing. When applied to the soil the microbe and iron humate combination go to work. The microbes colonize and grow in the media and around the root system of plants. Once on the root's rhizosphere they form a synergetic relationship, feeding off of the plant's waste materials while secreting beneficial by-products. This combination of root colonization and secondary metabolite production allows the plant to generate a robust root system, larger top growth and overall stronger plant. In addition, certain by-products of the microorganisms (called siderophores) actually break down the iron contained in BiolRON and makes it readily available to the plant. This "natural chelation" slowly releases
the iron to the plant over an extended period of time. Because of the unique way the iron is released there is no fear of burning, even with iron sensitive plants.

Finally, the the humic acid in BioIRON is used as a food source by the microbes, enhancing their ability to propagate in soil. This in turn allows them to survive in bulk, bagged or baled soil media for over two years so there is no fear of BioIRON expiring in left over soil.

Directions For Use

Soil Incorporation: Evenly blend BioIRON into growing media at a rate of 2.5-5 lbs per cubic yard.
Broadcast: For agricultural fields use 5-10 lbs per acre appleid in-furrow
Top Dressing: For turf and athletic fields use 2.5 lbs per 1,000 sq ft

Longevity:

BioIRON has a 2- year shelf life in the bag. Once incorporated in the soil, it is viable
for up to 1-year in unused soil. Once the soil is used for planting, BioIRON is effective for one growing season.

Chemical Compatibility:

BioIRON is compatible with all chemical fungicides and fertilizers. Consult manufacturer for bactericide and chlorine compatibility.

UV Sensitivity:

The bacterium is not UV sensitive.
