VITEC 7000 is a multicomponent liquid antiscalant and dispersant which provides a high level of sulfate inhibition and allows increased RO system recoveries in challenging waters. It prevents calcium sulfate scale precipitation allowing up to 6 times saturation. It is successfully applied in both industrial and potable applications, is NSF certified, and is compatible with polyamide membranes from all major manufacturers and with Avista coagulants.

The primary application for VITEC 7000 is brackish water or wastewater rich in sulfate, where a specialty product is required for economic membrane system recovery. It also serves highly challenging well waters, leachates and brine concentrators. The formulation includes a crystal modification property that distorts inorganic salt crystal growth to reduce system fouling. It is injected neat and continuously, with dilution not below 10 percent strength, at a typical dose of 2 to 5 mg/L.
