Flow restrictors cap the maximum flow rate through a Dosatron dosing system, keeping the injector inside its rated operating range. They are simple inline components that install in the supply plumbing ahead of the unit.

Fit a restrictor when available water flow could exceed the doser's maximum. Over-speed operation causes noisy running, premature piston and seal wear, and dosing that drifts off ratio. Three ratings cover the common 3/4 in and 2 in system flows.

Choosing Your Model

Match the restrictor to the maximum rated flow of your injector, not to your pump. A 3/4 in D14 rated to 14 GPM takes the 14 GPM restrictor; a 3/4 in system limited to 10 GPM takes the 10 GPM part. The 40 GPM restrictor is a 2 in body sized for D40 HiFlo installations.
