Monosilicic acid is the form of silicon plants take up and use straight away, and Grow-Genius delivers it with high purity ingredients and a rapidly biodegradable second-generation stabilization technology instead of a potassium silicate base. Silicon strengthens plants physically and metabolically for bigger, healthier plants with increased resistance to heat stress, water stress and damage from wind or pruning.

In solution, add 0.03 to 0.05 mL per liter of water or nutrient solution (about one drop per liter, or 0.1 mL per US gallon) after other nutrients, with no pH adjustment required; hand water weekly to daily or dose irrigation header tanks weekly, from germination or propagation until a few weeks before harvest. As a foliar spray, apply weekly to fortnightly at 0.5 mL per liter (2 to 2.8 mL per US gallon), up to 0.75 mL per liter on woody stemmed plants. Keep the container tightly closed, never let water or dirt into it, and measure doses with a pipette.

Available Options

10 mL - makes 333 L of solution or 20 L of foliar spray; pipette included

100 mL - makes 3,333 L of solution or 200 L of foliar spray

250 mL - makes 8,333 L of solution or 500 L of foliar spray

500 mL - makes 16,666 L of solution or 1,000 L of foliar spray

1 L - makes 33,333 L of solution or 2,000 L of foliar spray

5 L

Key Features

Guaranteed 21% Si and more than 40% w/w monosilicic acid delivery

pH neutral, not potassium silicate based; no pH adjustment required

Ultra-low dose of 0.03 to 0.05 mL per liter in solution

Readily biodegradable: 95% over 28 days (OECD Test Guideline 301F)

Compatible with mycorrhizae and beneficial bacteria at recommended rates; not a registered organic product

Made in the UK with silicon sourced from Scotland

Contains ethanol: flammable liquid (SDS H226) and causes serious eye damage; keep tightly closed, away from ignition sources, and wear eye, hand and respiratory protection

Do not spray under full lights, in strong sun or with leaf temperatures over 86 deg F; stop foliar sprays at early flowering on species with dense or compact blooms

Ideal Applications

Hydroponic and recirculating nutrient systems

Drip irrigation and header-tank fertigation in greenhouses and indoor cultivation

Hand watering in soil and soilless media

Foliar programs for fruits, vegetables, salad crops, herbs and cut blooms
