The 10,000\u003cbr\u003eunique Streptomyces strains that were discovered were then screened for properties that were beneficial to plants and commercialization; things like rhizosphere competence, antibiotic production, enzyme secretion, etc. After years of research, seven strains emerged\u003cbr\u003eas leading candidates for commercialization.
