Add enough P903 for a 2 percent solution by weight for moderate to severe fouling or 1 percent for mild fouling, then recirculate to mix. Run through each stage individually for at least 60 minutes, with an optional soak of up to 8 hours. If the recirculating solution turns discolored or turbid, which is common with iron loading, discard as much as 15 percent of the volume.
